I just bought a 94-GXE with auto trans and 136,000 mi. What engines interchange with mine? just 3rd gen or can newer engines work to..... or older? also what trans?? thanks in advance

Cost is totally dependant on how much work you can perform yourself. If the final cost is relative to the enjoyment it would bring you to build and drive it then its all worth it. It WILL become a bit of a money pit, but so do most serious projects done properly.

The 3rd Gen forum search has many VG30ET threads. Take a look, theres heaps of reading on the subject. You can also learn different flaming techniques in the same threads so thats handy too
