this should be good

im out to set another record if i can pull it off in a couple months
a BUILT ve in a 92-94 5spd

gutted, caged, bottle fed. and maybe a small psi increase VIA turbonium

pistons, rods, port polish heads. intake. tb. and all my tricks added to it

can be built for aorund 2500 including spare motor for the build up {i love workin at a shop}

on the stock motor.
injectors
fpr
fuel pump
porting the intake and tb.
nitrous {not sure on shot size}
and all the usual motor tricks i know.

i am aiming for low 12's high 11's and still be street legal {to a certain extent}

thought id fill you guys in first on just the motor build up itself. this is not including other drive train stuff that will be made for it.

so if anyone has a VE 5spd. with no roof. no leather. body in good shape. no VTC tick. please let me know.

it's funny how i actually believe this. maybe it's cause that thing up there says maximaniac and not NEWBIE!!! and of course it seems like valid possible info, not just "dude, i'm gonna drop in the new 3.5 VQ and add 7 turbo's to get another 40hp outta each. gonna be fast and furious baby." yeah...

Bryan... there's one in Wagoner they only want $1500 for.. it's a VE auto and they say "needs a new engine", but I have no clue what's wrong with it...

may be worth taking a look at for something or other.

If you knew his history, that would make it even more believeable..

Bryan's old 92SE was the fastest one on record.. like 13.3 or something on bottle. 13.7 all motor.
his current car could run 10s if he really wanted to, but he's a freak and wants something slower to play with. I guess AWD just doesn't suit some people.

BTW, Bryan.. did you get any calls from anyone in Tulsa? I printed out your little spec sheet and took it to my buddy at the mitsu dealer. he said he'd pass it around and see if anyone bit.

Very nice. It will be good to have some real VE Powah floating around. I know VE30DE POWER is still working on his engine as well. This should be nice.

sweet, now I'll be around this time to witness it, since I wasn't for your last VE! I bet your email inbox is full of 500 "how do I do this to my car" and "will you do this for my car" messages ......good luck!

Same here! I think he hides in between runs to keep his straaaange legendary aura Kinda like The Man With No Name in Clint Eastwood movies: he rides in mysteriously, cleans up the town, and then just as mysteriously vanishes....

Are you using exhaust cut-outs for that extra little bit of oomf?

This is going to be great!

Matt. i need a ve car that is perferably driveable, that i can drive everyday till i get the other motor built for it. haven't gotten any calls yet on it.

i stopped getting those old e-mails years ago about the "how the hell did you ........"

so on and so forth

already have a machine shop lined up, still working on ecu work and turbo stuff {maybe} or it might be all bottle. who knows thats still a couple months down the road.

matt, weren't you saying there was a whole bunch of red ve 5spd's down in tulsa???? wouldn't mind having another red one with cloth interior. the reason for the no roof thing is for a more ridgid chassis

I saw a Black 92 in the STAR about a week ago, but I don''t think that it is in there anymore, it had a sunroof though. Have you checked the autotrader yet, there are usually a lot of maxes in there.
