91 se suspension problem

ok i have a 91 se
whenever i make a sharp right turn or take one with speed, there is an audible knocking noise and a shudder in the steering wheel
there is no problem with the handling as it stays right on track
it feels like its in the front but the sound is coming from the back as well
my guess is a bushing or maybe even the sway bar
i looked under and as far as i could see there was nothing wrong
anyone have any ideas/suggestions
im gonna go to the dealer but im up at school right now so i cant
thanks for any help

Does it only happen on right turns? Maybe it's the CV joints? Check the boots for damage or leaking.

I suppose it could be a balljoint too, I had a car that did something similar, but the noise was mainly from the tires scrubbing...

Jack it up and check her out!

its the CV joints. everyone knows that!
if u think about it, what could possibly be making this noise other than the cv joint

also check your wheel bearings. both of mine went bad recently, and they made some weeeeird sounds.
I even took it to the shop that rebuilt my tranny and he said it was either the differential inside the tranny, or the CV joint was bad. didn't even think about the wheel bearings.

do a search on wheel bearing (in message and title). you'll come up with lots of info about it.

I heard muffler bearings can be a PITA too.

Do you have a Macaroni Bent exhaust? I heard you were supposed to have one for each bend, so the pipes can flex easier. Just what I heard though...

I've driven cars w/clicking cv joints, but none of them make the steering wheel shudder. Maybe your case is special?
I'd look into the bearings issue.

just the cv joint.you take the boot away(id replace that too) then you can tap the joint off the axle using a hammer.you should be able to get an aftermarket joint on low prices but im not sure how low.
whope that helps.
