Stock injectors/other parts for Turbocharging??

Hi,

I'm bored and I've got all these turbo parts from my saab 9000...
Before the flames come...I'm trying to do this more or less as
an engineering/learning experience. I want to go VERY VERY low
on the pressure not to strain the engine, once the system is actually
setup...I'll tune from there. I guess what I'm asking is what MUST be changed in order to get the turbo working?? Will the injectors and fuel pump work for a very low pressure?? I'm going to set the wastegate for a low as I can make it. I'm working on the manifold adapter now, but I know I've got my work cut out for me. Can I get by with the stock ECU for now...as long as I keep the pressure down??

Any advice is welcome!!

Thanks,
Joseph

I hope you don't get flamed... sounds like a great hot rod project to me (my definition of hot rodding is the most performance for the least amount of money). I hope you're successful - I like to do the same thing. Let us know what you find out and keep us updated... please.

Here are 3 things that you need

1st. get a high flow fuel pump, either a 90-96 300zxTT or a walbro 255.
2nd. get a FMU (Fuel Management Unit) if you can't afford to get the ECU reprogrammed. The FMU will increase fuel psi for each psi that is seen in the manifold. This should keep the car running pretty rich and lower cylinder temps.
3rd. Get some gauges like EGT (exhaust gas temp), boost and maybe oil temp or fuel pressure. This company www.westach.com sells awesome dual/triple or quad channel gauges.

So the stock injectors are probably ok??
and the compression ratio won't blow up the engine ya think??
