Seat Interchangeability

I have purchased a 1993 GXE with a Grey Leather interior. I get possesion tomorrow. One of it's reconditioning needs is the driver seat. The bottom is split at a seam. The stitching appears to have come apart. The leather looks to be in good condition. I will check with an upholstery shop on if it can be repaired, but I was wondering about the interchangeability with 4th generation seats. If I could find a 4th Gen seat of the same color, would it drop right in?

why couldn't you just find a 3rd gen seat? i'm pretty sure there are a few people here who are parting out that might have seats left. i dono though.

your best bet is to have your seat fixed. they can just restitch it and put it back together. probably cost about $40 if they just fix that one section.

no other seats, except 3rd gen, will fit without modifying the seat tracks and drilling holes in the floor.
