ok,
when starting out and i disengage my clutch, my car kind of jerks. the best way i can describe it is clutch chatter. does that sound like a glazed flywheel? I can drop the clutch and it will grab and not slip, in case you guys saw my monster burn out

I've been thinking about just replacing the clutch and seeing if that fixes it, i mean i do have almost 100k on it. while i was at it i was gonna go ahead and clean house and do all kinds a maintanence to it. what does that sound like to you guys?

Yup. You probably galzed the disc and maybe warped the flywheel some. that means at least a flywheel resurfacing is in order.

The gap between the clutch disk

and the flywheel might have been "inclined". If it is so, it's necessary to adjust the gap (I've read about it somewhere and remember the procedure is complicated enough for DIY).
But, at first, are you sure that there are enough rpm (more than 1-1,2 k) when you engage the clutch and the engine have enough power to begin moving the car?

Good luck.

Good burn-out, couple of questions

1)Did you use your e-brake
2)Is that a OEM clutch assy or aftermarket
3)with almost 100K have you ever changed the clutch assy before?
Sounds like you could have broken a couple of springs in your clutch disc. Regardless, sounds like a replacement clutch assy in your future. Again gotts love that burn out, especially since it's a VE.

Re: Good burn-out, couple of questions

1. I used the ebrake once i got em spinning so i could shift into second and i released it as soon as i shifted. I just wanted to keep it there long enough to get 2nd gear.

2. Yup that's the stock OEM Clutch. never been changed.

Oh to whoever commented erlier, yea i'm sure i've got the revs high enough. i've been driving a stick since I was 14. taught myself in a field on an old truck he he he. and all four of my cars have been sticks and i Race SCCA. I think i can drive a stick.

oh on the burnout, no bleech, oil, tanny fluid, etc, was used. I hate it when people put down tranny fluid and take pics of their smoke. it's not "real" tire smoke. I left piles of rubber smoking on the ground he he he.

what do you mean? I've heard about this before, but are you talking about putting bleech oil, or tranny fluid on the ground where you do you burn outs or something? (to get more smoke)
