Headlight bulbs

Has anyone installed a set of headlight bulbs into their car that produces a brighter light; I'm not sure if I'm just getting old or if my bublbs are dying but it's harder to see things at night. Anyway, I know about HID headlight conversions, but I want to remain stock. I just want better bulbs that are brighter, aren't going to blow right away and aren't over wattage. If you have pics and/or know prices that'd be great.

Btw, I did a search on the 3g borad and almost everything is about the HID conversions, so please no flames.

Re: Headlight bulbs

when youre talking about hid's, are you also referring to hyperwhites? if not, you can get some low wattage hyperwhites for cheap. like $30 for pair. i havent had any trouble with blowing out the plugs or anything like that. and they are brighter than stocks. i got some at this place called flexivity. its in san diego, but they have a website www.flexivity.com.

Sylvania Cool Blues and Philips Blue Visions are both stock wattage bulbs that are whiter, and brighter than stock.

The stock bulbs suck, no question about it.
