Anyone install their own Alarm/Rem Start/Keyless Entry

unit?? Where did you mount all the control modules and transmitters. I have the control box (3" x 4"), siren, remote transmitter (1" x 1") and a shock detector (1.5" x 1.5"). Guessing I put the siren in the engine compartment, but where does everthing else go? The installation manual is no help--probably for a reason. It's a black widow RAS-130.

Thanks,

Thanks,
depends whether you have 5spd or auto
if it's auto, easiest place is up under the left side of the dash behidn teh stock alarm and timer control unit
if it's 5spd, there's not much room there because of clutch stuff but it still can be there, also if it's 5spd, you have a nice spot just above the ecu behind the center console since that's where automatics have a transmission controller
or there is a little room under the glove box
there are lots of other places too, just make sure it's not gonna get in the way of any moving parts

I see you live in Alabama, come to Atlanta and I'll help you out with the install if you're having problems

email me if you have more questions

here's a few pics that might help.

mounted the siren in the engine bay (of course).
everything else got smashed under the dash basically behind the fuse panel and wiring harness.

shock sensor was mounted on the steering column.

siren on firewall, below brake master cylinder and towards center of car more. Control module on top of ecu behind stereo. Shock sensor on steering column (pretty standard). Have fun wiring...do a search...I"ve found several sites that post which wires you need to tap.

you can put the siren under the dash for more fun
but yeah, drivers or passengers side underdash should be fine
for the alarm
