Windshield wipers died

Windshield wipers died
Went to turn on my windshield wipers, I hear a noise coming from under the dashboard but the wipers don't come on? Is it the stalk or possibly a fuse? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

you can check your fuse if it aint ur fuse it must be your wipers motor which is located in the back left corner, the opposite side of ur battery if so i have an extra motor, holla at me at babydollaz17@aol.com

If you hear the wiper motor going but see no action from the arms it's probably one of the linkages connecting the wiper pivots to the motor. How did this problem occur? Did you try using the wipers with lots of frost on the windshield (ie, wipers are frozen on it)? If so, you might have broken or popped out a connection inside there.
To see it you have to remove the wiper arms and take off the cowl cover. There is only 1 real screw in the middle and the rest just pop out (pop them out carefully or they'll break). Sometimes all that's happened is one of the plastic balljoints or something just pops out and you can pop it back in.
