Headlight project - Finally Done!
Headlight project - Finally Done!
Well, after much too much work, the headlight king has finished the project finally. The lights are one peice that fits OEM style, with angel eyes, HID, and clear corners except I left the reflector part.
Here we are, enjoy:

For the rest of the pictures click this link, and head towards the bottem of the page. Various shots, and some didnt turn out becuase the camera doesnt work as well at night. http://www.webphotos.com/list_photos...&smi=2&a=46134. I'm really happy, because tommarrow my car goes to the body shop to fix the rear bumper and my ugly dented front fender, and the car will be like new again!
Credits for this mod go to Craig B, who inspired this whole ordeal. Genious! I just made it work

ngthing- Jon, dunno if i like that idea, the way it looks now is fine too me. If i took out the bulbs it would just be a dark space in the lights..

yea, unfortunatly when the headlights are on it does take over the look of the halos, but even on the 5 series, it actually does it too. Oh well. You can slighty make out the ring around the high beams with the headlights on.

DAYUM! Now thats what Im talking about it. Those look pimp
by the way, did you take that lens out of your turn signals? I thought about doing that, but I wanted to get new lenses first becuase mine are pitted. And did you consider using regular clear bulbs in your corner lenses!

What you didn't pay. You didn't pay ~$349? did you? That's how much you can get "demon eyes" for. Less? more? Did you buy a kit? Piece it together yourself?
Very nice job indeed.

Lets just say it didn't hurt my bank account anywhere near there... This was no kit, everything was 100% ok, maybe 95% custom made by moi.. even the angel eyes..
Bman - thanks dude.. yea, i like amber corners. Sorry to some of ya, but i HATE blue bulbs in the corners and dont even care for white. I like it clear in the day and orange at night, and thats what i got
plus the cops dont pick on ya as much. And lasty, with all the lights on the front of my car, if i had blue and white in the corners, i have purple HID, yellow fogs, and the angel eyes are halogen, i'd look like a driving christmas tree with all the different colors

Actually... to tell ya the truth, they are just clear maxima headlight covers, which i modified into my design.

yeah, mangling my stock pods isn't an option, because i must maintain the ability to return everything to stock. i know there's guys out there who say it's really easy- some plywood and a drill, but i tried that and i have clearance problems with the door panel sticking out. i would sell internal organs at this point to have my 6.5"s in the doors so i could complete my system. if you know how to build some physics defying pod, please let me know!
