I have Bosch Platinum (not +4) plugs and Bosch wires. I have run them for the last 25K miles with fine results.

If I'd do it again and had the $$, I'd go NGK plugs and magnecor wires.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

BUT I DON'T HAVE WIRES!!!!!! at least i don't think so. ok, i have a VE motor. it's the twin cam in a 92 SE. Ok, there are just regular like "wires" not plug wires running to each plug. I'm pretty sure each plug has it's own individual coil pack right? this was my question. Are you guys talking about replacing those wires, or were you talking about a different model engine with a distributor.

As you said, you have individual coils for each plug. The single cam engines: early SE's and all GXE's have distributors and regular ignition wires.

yup.. as breubenstein said, your engine doesn't have plug wires.. all the guys with plug wires are the VG guys, which have a regular distributor cap/rotor ignition system. your ignition system is totally different, and you don't need anything for yours.
