My clock never works, and the lights where the a/c is never work. Could it be the bulbs are a wiring problem?

 

it's hard to tell. Does the light above the stereo work?

 

the lights in the dash for the A/C dont work. The paneling lights right above the radio. The lights work for each indvidual switch such as A/C and which angle you want the air coming out, but the background. Also, the clock.

 

it's probably a bulb then, they go bad too, just not as often. Saying the clock doesn't work doesn't tell a lot since they don't really work anyway. So, it's hard to tell you that the prblems are/aren't related. Sorry I can't help.

 

Here is my problem
The background light on the AC panel - which shows you the temperature slider and fan speed numbers is kinda gone. I know it works because for about a day or two it comes on every 2 to 3 months. Since I bought the car I have seen it glow for maybe 3 days (that's in almost 10 months). I know the bulb is still working (sorta) but I don't know why this may be happening. I'm really unhappy with Nissan dashboard quality I must say. I love my car but even beat up 91 camry's have their dash lights glowing nice and bright.

 

i think its just your car, cuz my lights have worked fine all the time on my 90 se, and this car has been through hell.
