trunk centerpeice

trunk centerpeice

i searched and didnt come up with a definite answer...how would you go a/b removing the trunk centerpiece and is there anythin else invovled in taking it off permanatly? thx

Ok, I'll bite. What centerpiece are you talking about?
You mean the one outside, on the trunk lid?
That's easy to take off. Just pop out the liner fasteners (about 5 of them) that are on the part of the liner opposite this piece. Then move the liner back and remove 8 nuts, then remove the piece. Easy work.

I looked at doing this also, but I noticed that almost all the nuts back there are completely rusted, I dont think they would come off easily.

just wondering what do you need to take that off for? are you de-badging your max?

Just incase my car gets an "a$$ lift" I might want to disguise my car as a VE someday
