Found a disadvantage of new exhaust

Well, after two days of the new y pipe and muffler, I have come to a conclusion, neighbors dont like exhausts Actually, it has quieted down since yesterday, which was the first day. Either that or I have just gotten used to it. Anyways, one of my neighbors told me that I need to start speeding up on our street because if I take it slow and keep it under 2k RPM's, the noise is so loud and deep, it'll set off his car's alarm It happened three times today but he was cool about it.

It's just a universal muffler that's straight through. I think it's the y pipe that's addign to it a lot. I have some pics of the muffler on my homepage. It was only 85 bucks installed.

Hey whitymax, where did you get that kit on your Max? I really like the front like that.

I still haven't come across a cool muffler that I can order. There's a nice Ractive one at Toucan, but I can't get to ordering it!! AH!

I used to have a HP Racing muffler that was gutted. Talk about loud! My neighbors hated me, and so did the cops. So i decided to get a new one, not gutted. But that thing sure was LOUD!!!
