BMW Headlight Conversion.....

Hey Guys,

I've been thinking about doing the BMW headlight conversion to Bosch ellipsoids or the ZKW Parabolic/Free-form headlights for a while now. I have someone willing to sell them to me from the Bimmer forums site. He'll sell me the Bosch ellipsoids at $380, and the ZKW Parabolic/Free-form headlights for $330. How hard is the conversion for each of these assemblies? I've search and found directions for the stock BMW lights, but none for these. Do they fit flushly into the 94 Maxima headlight spots? Can you guys give me any advice on which set to get and maybe a link to an installation webpage. Which BMW lights do all you guys have in your rides???
Thanks a lot,

Is $380 a good deal for the Bosch Epsilloids? That's with the factory wiring harness and everything? What'd the rest of you guys pay for this set-up?

Thanks for the Link Brandon, yeah I should have done a search. Sorry man, I'm just caught up in getting mods I didn't think about searching.

well if you have searched about the regular ones, then you should know that even those don't mount flushly...

Yep yep that's my post. Hey mole, something is telling me that you're buying the lights from the same guy as i am. But he has already promise me them free form so i guess you're just stuck with the ellipisoid Buy yeah i have been doing some research and i have a feeling that my free form will fit. And since the free form is deeper then the ellipisoid, chances are the ellipisoid will fit just fine.

Hey Maxima_dumby,

Are you getting yours from WJones, A.K.A. Tom, at http://www.angelfire.com/clone/wokfu. If you are that's cool, cuz I wanted to get the ellipsoids anyway. I found a really sweet link in one of the posts, http://www.geocities.com/bmwconversion/, this site is the best one I've seen for installing the lights. And it shows you a comparision between to two set-ups!
GOOD LUCK INSTALLING THEM!!

Hey thanks for the 411, but yeah i got my lights from tom as well. Pretty cool guy, kinda bugged him silly with all my questions about them lights. But yeah, have fun with your lights and show me some pictures once you're done with them, would be interesting to see what it would be like had i gone the other way
