I have a 91 SE and was wondering, since they don't have any dash kits for the 91's, if this 92 kit would fit my 91. Also, which is better, brushed/unbrushed aluminum or the carbon filter?? and it says its a 9 piece kit but i only see 8 pieces on the pictures.....HELP

It won't fit because the dash trim pieces are just a little different between the 89-91 and the 92-94 Maximas..

I've got the brushed aluminum kit, and it looks great from a little way away, but it doesn't fit extremely well. you can tell when you look up close or feel around the edges.
I would recommend he carbon fiber kit or the aluminum if you've got black interior.. other than that, I dunno. the aluminum kit looks kinda out of place in my car with brown interior, and any other kits would look even worse. kinda like seeing 18" rims on a buick roadmaster or something..

if you have black int, I would definitely go with carbon fiber; I have that now and it looks nice; I had trouble deciding between alum and carbon fiber, but I saw aluminum in someone else's car with black int. and it was just too shiny and contrasted
I have pics of my dash on my website to give you an idea of how the carbon fiber looks

One more question concerning the carbon filter...Do you just stick it to the dash or does it replace the entire piece that you put the carbon on?? I don't understand how this works yet. Also, where do i get a set for a 91?? All I've seen on the joshua's was for 92+.

Yeah, I'd probably recommend the carbon fiber, too. I've got grey interior, but I put a carbon piece and an aluminum piece up, just to see how it looked, and I liked the carbon one MUCH better.

hey, I spoke with Joshua Wood Trim, they said they don't make real brushed almunium kits for a 3rd gen. how'd you get yours?

i took a look on your web page. some of the pics are too blurry, but the ones that are clear it is hard to tell how it would look in person. it looks like the carbon fibre is black and white from the pic, is that just from the picture or is it really like that? on their site they have samples and it looks real smooth with black and grey carbon fibre. also does it look like they are just stickers, or are they thick and look like they are real carbon fibre(i know they are real, but some of them look like stickers since they are so thin) and do they fit the shapes of the dash well?

yeah, my camera is pretty crappy so it's hard to get good pics. the carbon fiber doesnt show up very well in pics so it's hard to tell what it looks like; it's mostly black, but it's shiny and it looks pretty much like the website stuff on http://www.woodtrim.com . The material is pretty thin; maybe 1cm or so with an adhesive backing and it fits pretty well
