Question About Oil Leak

I have a very minor oil leak in my 1993 SE. Maybe two or three drops a night at the VERY most and it doesn't seem to add up to a major amount of oil missing when I get my 2.5k oil change. Anyway, I would like to get it fixed and I was curious as to if this is a common problem and where it usually comes from. Could be stupid question, but you never know.
Thanks
Jay

I had an oil dump like every day, turned out to be rear main seal
With that done, there is still minor drips via valve covers, check those.

Could be anything with cars this age. You just have to look under the engine and try to look for the source of the drip. Hopefully it will be something simple like a bad seal at the oil filter or drain plug (maybe from dirt, backwards plug washer), and not something else like a engine seal or gasket.

i had a bad crankshaft seal (i think thats what it was) which the mechanic told me was a common prob w/ our cars...also id go w/ what others say about the drain plug cause i was doin like 1-2 drips a night and it turned out i just didnt tighten the plug good enough

Also check the oil pressure sensor (right above the filter). I just replaced mine because it was leaking. It's real common , according to the guys at local Nissan dealer.
