No way, man! He's probably smart and took them out himself! I did the same thing. It's like having a seperate set of rims! Going to the track? Take them out for a more aggressive look, and rid yourself of half a pound of dead weight!

i hated my stupid centercaps, because mine were plastic, and the paint wore off leaving light brown colored spots on them. it looked like sh*t. i grey primered them to make it a little better, but the primer chipped off. so i said screw it, and i took them off. no centercaps is the way to go. plus it makes your car a lot lighter, by like 7 oz.
