Where is the ECU

Wow! I never thought the day would come when I could answer tech questions for the Max!
It's beneath the dashboard where the center console and dashboard intersect. If you are in the front passenger's seat, you will see a panel with a bump below the dash to the left of where your legs go. Pop open the bump, reveal the screw inside, and you've got access to the ECU! BTW, if you're planning to do anything to it, I'd advise you to have a pro do it. If you screw something up, you can't sue anyone!
