Gas smell.......Smell gas and when I fill-up

When I fill-up I can see gas dripping out. It stops after a short time. Scheduled to see a mechanic next week but was wondering if it my be something simple.

Thought it might be something loose near the fill tube. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this or heared about it.

There are some rubber hoses near where the filler tube enters into the gas tank. They split and leak. That's probably your problem.

Check the overflow hose. Mine was cracked, but it would only leak when the tank was full.
