Ok my ECU has 5 modes I want it on the 5th one, that is where it will tell you what is wrong while you are driving. To get it on the 5th one do i need to start the car then put it on the 5th one, or just have the key on the (on) position then put it on 5 and then start it up and drive. If you know please help. Thanks!

 

Start engine first, turn fully clockwise, wait for 5 flashes then turn fully counterclockwise.

 

can someone explain what the different modes do and do you have a stock ecu or an aftermarket (might be a stupid question)?
