4. Remove upper dash panel that surrounds the gauges and clock.
There are 9 screws total holding this piece in. Five are on the lower part which are easily seen (2 just below clock and one more on each side of the steering wheel). The other 4 are hidden in the top part and you will have to look up from underneath to see them. After this is done, you need to take the whole piece out. Lower the steering wheel if you haven't already. Pull the whole piece out (vents will come out with it). This piece is hard to get out, but if you bend it slightly in the middle, it will help get it over the steering wheel. There is one harness at the clock that you need to unplug. If you want to get to your gauges for any reason now, all you have to do is remove 4 screws (2 on top and 2 on bottom) and unplug its harnesses from the back while pulling the whole assembly out.
Is that it or do I have to take out the stuff near the steering wheel?

I just chage my bulbs today and put polarg hyper white bulbs, they look great!!!!!
Its easy to do it, only to take out some screws and the bulbs are behind the thach and speed meters.
but the speedometer and tachometer needles are not as white as the other. those have another bulbs? or what?

1. yes that's it.
2. search more, look for pictures, there are plenty.
3. do it yourself. then you'll know.

look at my page Jojo, under how-to for fixing dead clock
it'll tell you evertying up to taking out the plastic piece that goes around teh gauges and clock
from there, there are just 4 screws holding in the gauges and 3 connectors
search, this has been discussed lots
good luck

yeah i did it today..it turned out really good im impressed..the only thing i recommend is getting the little little lights for the keyring and **** so they all match..dunno the size number..and put the steering wheel colume up to take off the bottom panel and all the way down to take it apart..besides that its really ez you just gotta look for screws...it goes
steering wheel colume
the panels u need to take off for your radio
the panel with cruise control
then the molding
then you get to the gauge
unscrew it and turn it to the back and theres things u twist and u can put new lights in
4 194 lights is right
u take **** off in that order

import intelligence intelliglow needles. they are micro leds that you can get in blue, red, or green. i have no clue why i got the blue ones considering red is my favorite color, but on the site they have a picture of a 240 with them so that made me decide to get blue.

that's pretty easy to do. if i had the bulbs i could do in 10 minutes. once i get this guage cluster i'm buying, i'll throw in some blues to show you what it looks like, unless you do the conversion before i get my guages.
