Grill Q's

Been looking for a grill to replace the stock one. Either in mags or possibly making one myself. Any suggestions?

The only thing I've ever heard of is using a 92-94 grille and doing the mesh job.

cutting the mesh is a pain in the ***.. non the less getting the right shape will never happen.. unless you spend ALL DAY trying to cut the mesh.cutting the 90 grille is hard too, their is a lot of "guts" in it that would make the mesh look bad if you put it in back of the grille.. but i guess if you planed every thing ahead and cut very slowly and made sure every thing was the right shape it would look great!

Hey Hey Hey... I just meshed my grill out a few omnths ago, I ahve very extensive directions with pictures on my page here.
http://maxima.cardomain.com/member_p...=181882&page=1
I used my 89 GXE grill. It came out quite well, but the pics aren't the latest. I painted the mesh white to keep the attention away from the horn and radiator behind the gaping hole. The mesh was rather simple to cut, and once I had a good fit, I cut another piece out exactly the same so I have a spare if something were to happen to the one that in.
I think using screws is pretty much outta the question, the plastic is just to da** thin, you'd have screws poiking out the other side.
Also, a template would be no good, as the type of mseh you use and many other differences would keep one template from having any sort of widespread use. Just take some time with and old pair of gardening scissors(the shorter the blades the better off) or tin snips and mkae it fit right!

I went to Custom Maxima.com and in the COMMING SOON area, they have a grill listed for our cars, check it out. Me? I just removed the Nissan Emblem and repainted the grill.
