Repair a leather seat

The seam on my driver's side seat has come undone (must be my fat a$$).... Anybody know if/how the cover can be removed so I can stitch it back up?

yup.. most upholstery shops can do this for you for not too much money- especially if it just needs restitching and no repair.

if you want to do it yourself, you'll need some hog-ring pliers and hog rings to put it back together.. need some strong wire cutters to cut the old rings off that hold the cover on the seat.
that's about it..
pull seat out, cut all the hog rings off, remove cover.. fix damage.. do it backwards.

Matt,

Thanks for the feedback. How tough are these hog rings? I haven't seen them and, before I go yanking the seat out, I want to know if its worth it to do it myself.
