Clutch Problems 2

I know i've posted this before, but i guess i didnt do something right...

Car is sluggish of the line, engine revs and rpms go up yet it's like the clutch doesnt engange, seconds later it will, and same when i shift into other gears, this slow lag time. I was told to tighten some screw but not sure which. any suggestions?

how old is the clutch?

sounds to me like a slipping/dying clutch

the screw that you might be talking about is one to change the point where the pedal engages the clutch but that wouldn't affect it like you mentioned

the clutch is only a year, maybe a little more. We replaced the original and nissan put some odd clutch in. Never really felt right, but most 2nd clutches are never as good as the first. I know that screw your talking about, but some one was telling me there is a clutch calibration line or something like that needs to be adjusted.

reach down to where the slave pushes on the clutch fork. if you can wiggle the fork with no pressure on the clutch, then it is engaging all the way. if you can't, then it might just be tight. but check it anyway. i had my OE replacement clutch go bad after less than a year. . .
