Anyone with Tokicos

1) Still have their old oem frontstruts. I will buy them for $25.00 + shipping. I really want koni's and need the strut bodies.

2)What is the longest anyone has had Tokicos, how have they held up.

thanks,

Alan

I've never had Konis but I'm getting them for the front soon so maybe you could answer a question for me:
Why do you need the OEM strut housing for the Konis??
Thanks.

Konis

The Konis are inserts. (Both front and rear) On the front ones you have to cut the top of the old housing off, drill a hole through the bottom and mount the inserts in the old housing. Any rear struts (including Tokico)are inserts, but the top of the housing has a gland nut that you take off to install the inserts in the strut bodies.

When I put my Eibach springs on I used Monroe Sensatrac, and they still work OK but do not controll the Eibachs as well as they should. They are progressive shocks and work pretty well on extreme compresssions but are a little bouncy on light dips. IMO it fells like I need the Konis more in the rear than in the front.

The parts I need will be garbage when you put the Tokicos on. I think I have a dude on 3rd Gen BBS hooking me up, but I'll get back to you if it crashes.

I am not sure if they will work, that is why I/m trying to dig up the OEMs. The Koni's are like $130 each so I want to be sure.

I have tokicos for 1 year now, they are decent.

No ooooo's and aaaaaah's about them. they work good enuff.

Koni and KYB AGX might be better choices.

can't kick about 70K. Someone on 3rd gen hooked me up with OEM Bodies. Shox.Com just shipped out Konis on Monday.
