Finished BMW light conversion

I finally finished the BMW comversion with some help from my dad. I think it looks really good. My new sig picture should be below. The pictures don't come in very well. But it still looks nice.

How long did it take you, and any special tools you used?

Well it took a span of 2 days, just because we were busy with other stuff too. But it probably took about 7 hours or so to do. You need something to cut the factory nissan bracket. And you need 2 9005 and 2 9006 sockets for the new bulbs. And some thick sheet metal to hold the BMW headlights into the brackets.

i bet cutting the brackets to fit to headlight should take the longest. The rewiring is very simple, and the adjusting part is just up to your standards. As to how the lights are held in place, well the bracket does help hold the lights up but you're gonna have to get a metal peice to bolt it on from the lights itself to the bracket. Since the bracket is bolt onto the frame, you bolt the lights to the bracket, and you're done.

Thats all nothing...try cutting into the frame itself, not even using stock brackets because they are the real german ones made from glass, so pretty muh cut into your frame, fit them in, wire them, etc and then find out your hood doedsnt close...so you bang and cut into the hood to get rid of the bumps on the bottom, and then the product is on jdwyer2821's car...well almost done..i w/ill not say anymore

yeah i know what you mean
i too have them euro lights on them too
just imagine trying to cut the frame with a little dermel tool
took me a good 5 hours for just one side
later i realized instead of cutting the frame why not just cut the lights instead and i did that for the other side and got it done in less then an hour

The cutting is was took the longest just because you have to keep checking to see how the fit is. Just get 4 pieces of metal and bend them. One half is screwed into the factory Nissan bracket and the other half of the metal is screwed into the original BMW holes on the headlight. There are 2 on top and 2 on the bottom. The original screws came out of them.

All that work for bracket assembly, just make your own brackets.

Tint out the sidemarkers, and the spoiler is too much for my liking, and the chrome trim is not my most fond styling on a car.

Just my opinion.

Nice rims, and nice front end pic.

God, I love BMW headlights on Maxes. I just don't like DIY jobs too much. Anyone be willing to come over and do it for me??
