I think I may be overreacting to my tranny problems.

My 89 auto shifts at a hair over 6000 rpm.

normally around 2-2500, when i floor it in normal it goes to about 500 b/f redline, if its in power mode or whatever it goes 2 redline...i don know nothin bout trannies...good 4 me

I shift right before it hits redline, so the RPM's actually go into red a little bit. It shifts harder and quicker, good when you race
V-TEC's.

my car is doing that but i was thinking it was sliping i mine is shifting at about 4000 ok,thanks

keep in mind that it could b somethin else besides the tranny messin that up...mine is now shifting later, by about 500 rpm, but thats cause i screwed up somewhere after i replaced a gasket, so check for stuff thats not connected right maybe??? ill let u know what i find out on mine...
