where is the exhaust gas sensor
I know on the VG it's located just beyond the Y-pipe, but it's easy enough on any car to find the oxygen sensor: Start from manifolds (jack up the car and get underneath - you usually can't see this stuff unless you do) and follow them until you see something sticking out of the exhaust pipe with a wire attached to it. It will have a fitting so you can use a wrench to unscrew it.
Simply unscrew and unplug it, coat the new oxygen sensor's threads with anti-sieze (very important! Most usually have a little bit already but more can't hurt. Use it ONLY on the threads!) and screw and plug it in, making sure to secure the wire if you have extra length.
