Maxima VG30E parts interchangeability... differences in Engine?
Hi-
I was wondering whether anyone knew if there were any running changes to the engine in 1989 to 1990 for the Maximas. I want to purchase some used parts for my Maxima but don't know if they are the same or whether they will work correctly. More specifically, I'm looking at using the temp sending units, heat control valve, heater core, fuel injectors, fuel rails, and fuel pump from a 1989 to put into my 1990. I was also wondering if parts from a 1993 GXE with the VG would work in a 1990. Thanks.

injectors and fuel rail should be the same...I see that distinction a lot too, for some reason some companies do 1989-1990 and then 1991 and up separately....I dunno why
