well i have ventured into a new world of tech wizardry yet again. but this time. its with more then 400 hp

i bought a 95 gsx eclipse 5spd,
mods are below

fully balanced and blue printed engine
hks lower end
ported/polished head
"big" 16g turbo, w/10 degree clipped exhaust wheel
ported ehxaust housing
Autronic standalone emc computer system
apexi dual chamber blow off valve
rsr 3 1/8 down pipe
no cat
magna flow muffler
rsr 5" tip
python 550cc injectors
sst racing chrom intake
apexi filter
speed design tranny and 4 spider center diff
act 2600 lbs clutch
toshiba laptop for tuning and emc adjusting
halman boost controller
total seal rings
2 1/4 upper and lower IC pipes
stock IC
MSD DIS-4 ignition
magnecore wires
holley fuel pump
felpro gaskets
ARP head studs
front and rear STB's
17" borbet type m wheels
Michelin Pilot XX tires 205 45 17's
stainless steel brake lines
Metal master pads
cyberdyne A/F ratio meter
SPI boost gauge
Autometer shift light
short shifter
stock suspension

all this concludes in 420 wheel hp
and possible low 12's with some minor tuning
mid 11's with a gutted interior
my quest to go faster just took a giant leap
this car will smoke all four tires from a 25 mph roll on 12 lbs of boost, have yet to turn the boost up above stock. and mess with the ecu. with these setting its went 13.0@107 with a 1.7 60ft at kcir

woohooo i love it

Nice Bryan! Any how many tranny's did you fry on the GT-S?

I always wanted a DSM, now I can live vicariously through you.

My next beast will be my mom's 300 dollar 82' Toyota Starlet. I'm going to gut it out and slap in a VG30DETT baby.

well being as im tearing down the engine right now to replace some gaskets that seem to have gone wacky on me. i'll get together with justin and get some pics taken some day of it. the motor looks like all the other dsm 4g63 engines you have seen, just no mass air. looks bone stock from the front, and from the back all you see is the muffler. no biggie. just a little ole dsm with a muffler. the boost comes in, and im off to the races
=oD

Matt, e-mail me and i'll explain why i didn't show saturday d00d

Dammmmmmmmmm

Thats a sick ride..

Yup you have everything done on that car..
All you need is to raise the boost.. your downpipe is 3 1/8 so whats the diameter of the cat area to the exhaust.. ?

ONly 12lbs..
ohhhh... need more boost.. try puttin it on 20lbs and see what happens

narfed 3 trannies in the celica

ant. the exhaust is 3 inch all the back from the down pipe. no cats.

with 24 lbs and race gas, and the race map programmed into the ecm it will hit some happy numbers. but for now. im taken it easy for the winter. no major things changing. 18 lbs and my daily driver program. i'll be happy vette killing

hey man is that AWD??? i don't remember how eclipses run, we had an AWD Talon TSI. We got a little over 300 HP out of it and it was crazy. We raced it at the roadcourse untill j got sloppy at a rally and put her through a guardrail, off a tree, and into a creek. killed it hard man. Loved the car, but the quality of those cars is really low. That and those engines (at least the stock ones) don't hold together, and that was before we started transplanting engines. But that car was soooooooooo balanced Being AWD. We never did get to run it at norwalk so i don't know striaght line numbers.
