well if i take it..... hopefully i can return it before she notice and just get what i own. but i tell u this i have had people waiting for this for months to finish what i started. i appreciate all the support and comments. she hasnt contacted me in months... so i dont think she regrets what she did or is willing to take cash. hell she tried to sell it to my sister for 4500. i was paying that amount and already had 2500 paid off. she just saw how bad it was and got jealous and now she has been pimping it for months and i know she doesnt care. with out all that is mine its just a maxima with over 200k miles. what a sad thing to say.... but owell 92 se ve 5spd here i come!!!! and ill pimp it out and drive it down to florida just to flaunt it.

hey there dennis, long time no speak.
since it sounds like theyre is no reasoning with your mom, dont try to, i guess?

i would do this. Take what is yours off and out of the car. make it so it can run and if they're are holes in the trunk lid, fill and paint them. just try to follow this line: Get all your stuff out and make it so the car is still in good condition.

be the better man (you know what i mean). If she see's that family is more important than possessions than i think she will come around. If she doesnt, then you will know that you've sent the peace signals/ that youve done your part. maybe change the oil. little tuneup? reccomend a tranny cooler. clean the inside, wash it. give it a full tank of gas. make it be like new but not really. Also then if she gives you crap about having the car, you can make her look/feel bad. You were just getting your stuff off to help finish the conflict. you put some time and money into it so it wont be worthless and are just showing that you've recognized the problem and are now taking steps to fix it.

if she does try to get you for "borrowing" the car, just tell her "im trying to put this thing behind us. I took my stuff off and fixed up the car for you." maybe throw in a "i dont want to play a never ending battle with no winner".

if you vandalize the car your putting yourself at risk. if you are connected to vandalism then again.... it is documented on the internet, might wanna watch that. i figure it will work out the best for you this way. if she doesnt accept it, youve done all you can do (reasonable, give or take) and its time for her to come around.

just food for thought,
keep us posted.
