usually i get around 250 mi./tank. I pour one of those fuel injector cleaners in...and d@mn.......i already have almost 100 on the first quarter of the tank. Does this sound too good to be true. I went to skoo on a full tank and came back....the needle didnt even move. I go to skoo about 24 mi. there and 24 back.

Damn dude, that was about 14 mpg! I get ****ed if I go less then 300 on a tank, unless I'm playing Speedracer!

Altho, I have an interesting question, that I've asked almost everyone I know, and noone knows it...
Why is it that you get almost TWICE the distance on the first 1/2 the tank as you do the 2nd half?
I can go between 200-250 mi on the first half, and I almost always end up at 330-360 for the full tank...
Anyhoo...

 

man.....last week....i'll be more than happy if i got 250 on half tank. I was barely getting 250 whole tank.

Thats more than likely because your tank is more full then what your sending unit shows. Once it gets to where the sending unit sees thats it is going down then your gauge starts to go down.

Just for the record i live in Canada and i only get 450-500km on a tank of gas. Seems pretty hard on gas dont you think?
