Exhaust <replacing front pipe, how much more $$$ than stock for aftermarket?>

last night i had the good fortune of being nearly sideswiped by a passing Ranger on a really narrow road in my town. i was forced off the side of the road, and ran over a rock that was a few feet from the street. i bumped over it pretty hard, and did some big time damage to my front exhaust pipe (as well as a bunch of mounting brackets, braces, screws and other minor components). i had it looked at today, and i am going to need my front pipe replaced. since maximas are foreign cars, the parts are going to be pretty pricey. i am thinking of getting an aftermarket exhaust since i'm going to be spending $$$ either way. i don't know too much about the different exhaust setups but when i do searches for more info i always get such a wide variety of search results that its useless to sift through them all hoping to find one or two helpful posts. i would like to know if anyone is either willing to take the time to type out themselves, or if anyone knows a previous post or website containing some good info on what my options are, price wise and whatnot. i was told to get my car off the road as soon as possible, bc driving it like it is now is hurting the engine. i was going to leave it at the place tomorrow to have all the work done w/ stock stuff and just get it done, but if someone answers this fast enough ill look into getting some aftermarket stuff. thanks for the time everyone. please help me out

peace
