I might sell you my spot, I'm debating if I want to keep the car or not. I'd sell it to you for $600 shipped.

I may be interested if the timing is right, around when would you be selling it? also did you get a color weave in it?

I'd sell whenver it ships, if I sell at all. My whole car is up in the air right now, I'm weighting differnt options. If this would work, you could pay me, and I'd give FI your address for shipment. I need to ask David though.

Heres' whats going on...

I sent my hood over there about two weeks ago. Well, the shipper damaged it on the way there, so I asked Fiber Images if they could just order a brand new hood from Nissan so that they could make the mold from it. If you guys read those post on the general discussion, I'm sure you heard that some people were dissappointed with their hoods. After talking to some people at FI, they told me that the original hood had a slight dent in it and that this showed up in the mold. In order to keep this from happening again, they just bought a brand new hood. I have to get the insurance money from the shipper so that I can pay for the new hood that FI bought. Hopefully, they only have four more weeks to go. I'll keep you guys posted...

it woulc be cheaper to call a local junkyard and get one from them. shipping on a hood will be over $50. I bought a hood at a junkyard for $75.
the problem with junkyards is they don't care how they treat them to get them off. they usually bend corners or sctarch the hell out of them. ask if you can pull it yourself if they have one. they're easy, but will take two people.

Re: Re: Re

It's already been bought. Plus, I'd rather have a new one to make the mold from it. I also don't want to go through the hassle of shipping another hood to them because they tend to get damaged. I insured my old hood for a $1000, so I'll have money left over.
