That sounds rather dismissive Is this not a good idea (supercharging)? Or has the subject been beaten to death already (I'm new here)?

Sooo, nobody has done this "correctly" (yet)? Are there any kits or a reliable/tested parts list?

no kits..the entire setup would have to be custom, Vortech sells SC units for around $1k+, after that you'd have to fabricate charge piping and above all most importantly how you would mount and run the belts to even turn the turbine...IMO a turbo setup is much easier to fabricate, especially with the VG engine!

and please ignore MaxtypeR....he just seems to talk and talk and talk, yet his breath has the tinge of BULL****!

MaxTypeR, Your Shakespearian poem speaks of cars that are not running 12's should go to hell. Dear god man! I would certainly like to aquire your knowledge on impowering my vehicle to be so fast as to run 12s. I wonder if you managed to install your supercharger what you would have been running, 6's?? 5's?? Dare I say 4's!?!?!?!?????

My dear good man, please share your knowledge, i beseech you!

There are only generic kits that you would have to modify to install. They are pretty pricy and it would be an experiment. Best option is to approach a car modifier and see if you can get a discounted price to be their guines pig. I don't think they would take it, but you never know.

No, but

Go to the Nissan Dealer and take a look at the Supercharged Frontier Pick Up Truck with the VG33E engine. The engine layout is different (longitudinal), but it's VG.

This VG might be very different and the supercharger would likely be pricey, but it wouldn't hurt to at least look.

Completely different set-up.
Want a S/C ? Just remove the AC throw the Super Charger where the AC would be and get custom piping made.

I'm not too educated on SC's(other than I know they are belt driven), but would that actually be possible???
