light problem
light problem
I went out and bought a stock replacement bulb for my fog light. After the fun of getting the screws out of the tightly fitting housing
I got the bulb in no prob. Everything looks fine, but when I go out driving I noticed my high beams would randomly come on, but especially this would happen when I applied the turn signal. I was in the low beam position still, but I had to kinda jiggle the signal handle around to get the lights back to normal.
Also, I pulled up to a building with huge windows to check out the reflection of the front end, and it looks like the passenger side (the side I put the bulb in) headlight is dimmer now. Any ideas about whats going on? Thanks guys.

i don't have an answer, but i'm wondering why you had such a hassle replacing the bulb. It requires removing 2 bolts, pulling the assembly out, un-clipping the wire harness, and removing 2 screws on the back of the assembly.
How did you accomplish the task?
btw, I just replaced my fog bulbs and adjusted the aiming. Not bad for stock fogs.

The reason this was such a task was because those two screws in the back are really tight and its difficult to fit a screw driver in there. So I needed one of those 'S' shaped screw drivers that can fit in there nicely. But I didn't have one at my apartment so I had to wait till I got home from school. With the right tool its all easy then.
