6.5" pods

I will be installing some Kenwood 6.5" components in my 94 GXE (non bose) soon. does anybody have any plans or dimensions for making new speaker brackets instead of dremmeling the 4x6 brackets that are in there?

I suppose asking you to see what's been discussed before would be futile. That said, when I made mine, I took a piece of 1/4 inch plywood and traced out a pattern that would both hold the 6.5 inch speaker and still leave enough room to drill drill the 4 holes needed to mount the bracket.

It really isn't super difficult. Should you need pictures, do a search. Many people have done this. I'd show you pictures, but I'd have to go on upload the pics to my site and then come back to post the link...... (too much work).

Pods

Look at §Craig§'s page. He posted a picture of my pods, and I wrote up how I fabricated them.
