I was looking to get a guage pod mounted in my 3rd gen but the guy at speed and truck world told me that they don't make them for max's but I got my summit import catalog and they have a dual pod setup for the fourth gen's only and my question is if I were to buy the dual pod would it fit in my 3rd gen?? And if not does anyone know of anything close enough that I can "fabricate" to fit on my winshield pillar?

best bet it to measure your A pillar ..
get the overal "curvature" and order something similar in size.

like for the 2k maximas, their a pillar is similar to the eclipse..

 

today I just test fit my friends dual pod from his Eclipse onto my 3rd gen and it will fit fine with some bolting on, and seems it should be flush with the pillar.

 

I used the pod off an accord. It's made by gauge works and fits pretty good. It's been a while since I've bought it so I couldn't tell you exactly what year Accord. Maybe 94-97.

Thanx for all of the info, I do have on question though and that is which year eclipse could I use for my car, and by the way when I get back to work I'm going to take some picture cd's and start loading all of my pix to my website so I might be able to host pix for those who don't use photopoint anymore such as myself....lol
