Just thought I would post up what I did to fix my trunk light. When I bought the car, the light was inop. Today, I figured out what was wrong with it. My car is a 92 GXE btw. The wiring harness that runs along the driver's side trunk hinge had some broken wires inside. Reattaching the wires will re-enable your trunk light. Just thought I would share this little piece of info.
