Sorry i should put all these in one post but these things come to me sparaticaly. My clock in the dash will only turn on once in a blue moon and then next time i turn the car on it won't. i checked the fuses none blown what could it be? (doing this since i bought it)

all maximas do it. take the clock out and replace it with one that works. or take it apart and re solder all connections and replace capacitors. I'm going to fix mine soon.

not maximas do it.. mine hasn't flickered yet.

but yeah.. all you have to do is remove the clock, resolder all the connections, replace the capacitors and the big resistor in it, and it'll work for another 10 years.

Maybe it's just the earlier maximas? My 90 does it but not my 92. Hmm...

BTW: Matt, how much does the "clock assembly" run if I got one from the nissan dealer (or from kaleb?)?
