Fuel Pump Pressure On 92 Se ???
Fuel Pump Pressure On 92 Se ???
I have a problem with the acceleration as well as engine shut-downs, and after trying everything (cleaning KS terminals, tune-up, etc.) I've decided that a fuel pump might be defective.
I want to know what is the fuel pump operating pressure, and what would be the best way to check it.
Thanks

Re: Fuel Pump Pressure On 92 Se ???
It should be at 43psi at idle and 36psi for about 10 secs after ignition is turned off.

It should be at 43psi at idle and 36psi for about 10 secs after ignition is turned off. You can put a Tee in the fuel line from the fuel filter to the fuel rail. Any pressure gauge with a 0-60psi or more range will work.
