Something tells me you meant to tell him to search.

Not to be an ***, but you should really search before posting. Also, please read the stickies.

Don't let these guys jerk you around to much! No one on this board has a VG30DETT in their car. Period. It won't fit. (there are a million other reasons)

You turbo inquiry is number 1,000,001. To see everyone else get flamed for the idea, do a search.

Finally, the way your question is worded makes me think you have very little working knowledge of engines, turbos, and engine swaps. For this reason, I would find $3k-$4k and go talk to a good speed shop. They could probably figure out how to add a single turbo to your motor. Trust me, the guys around here will not spill any knowledge they have b/c they have already decided you are an idiot.

Go To.....

z31.com to learn more about the potential of theh VG motor. All internal and most peripheral mods on a VG 300zx apply to VG maximas. Tons of info out there. And search first, don't just spout questions. Some people will be kind and respond, but most will just get annoyed. Good Luck.

skymax had some motor work done, and he did the single turbo swap but it didnt last long...

people offer internals for our cars, and since they do most likely someone has done it.

Yeah, "FF" stands for Front engine FWD. I emailed them and they said the same thing too. As for internals, VG's have a lot of potential. There is a ton of stuff on this board and z31.com if you look. With enough internal mods (and bolt ons), a good 200-210+ fwhp is possible. Now, keep in mind there is a good 15-20% difference between crank and wheel HP. That means 210fwhp is a good 260hp at the crank. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Getting that much HP isn't some insane big deal either. I mean, if you do all the bolt ons, cams, p&p, pistons, custom headers, etc then it is very possible.
