Alright I just posted this mesage but the web page thing a maj ig deleted it before i could post it - i put too many smilies in it i think. Oh well.

Ok heres the deal again - I will make it briefer this time cause it was about a page long.... Alright first off I would like to say I have not totaled my Max - so don't worry. The problem is aquiring my Max! The owner lives in NC while he is selling it through a friend and cool guy here in KY. Just about everything that could go wrong so far has. So nothing else could possibly go wrong leaving this deadline to be pretty much the final one. Yay.
First off the guy in NC just didn't send the title for three days. It is an official document and you can't send them fax, e-mial, copies etc. So ya have to get the original documents to the person buying it. Well this seems all good and easy right? Ya know fed-ex em to the guy in KY to sell to me. Oh no - not that easy. After the guy finally got the thing notorized and fed-ex'ed, as I said it had been three days. So ya know everything was alright - they took $200 off the price. I was happy. So, could that be the end of it? - no. On the title was still a lein - meaning the person who bought it took out a loan and the loan company sent him a paper to take to the county clerk to get the title totally transfered to him about two years ago. He, however, did not do this. And now the loan company is mailing (in the US Mail) him this certificate for him to take to the County Clerk - where he will then fed-ex it to the guy in lousiville and it will be mine - muahahahahaha. This should happen around Wed.
Not so bad, eh? Well its still not over! My dad is going on a business trip that week and will be back at 1:00 on friday. The guy here in KY who is selling it for the guy in NC has a job though and gets off at 5:00. Well on fridays every single county clerk office closes at 4:30. So even if I get the car on friday I woundn't be able to drive it until monday. I mean I am going to be out of town until Firday at 5:00 but I would like to use it over the weekend - but my life is not that easy.
Haha - so I let out my frustration AND told my first Maxima story even before i actually owned the sucker! What fun... Lata all - and pray for me that I get this freakin car lol. I really need one in a bad way - mine ('89 chevy corsica) is just downright usafe. GXE's all the way! Whaoo - who needs a fast one when they look as good as they do? Max's that is. Lata....

uhhhh, just drive the damn thing anyway and if you get pulled over, tell them you just bought the car and you're waiting on the title to come in the mail. it's no big deal. done it several times before on my cars.

 

I should! That would let me vent my frustration but then i would proly get pulled over lol. Fact - my dad won't let me - - fact two - we are both gonna be outta town next week so it owuld be safer at this guy in KY's house...... but good thought! and next time i will lol.

 

After a year of waiting for a car, a month of trying to find a maxima, and a week of trying to buy a particuler maxima it looks as if this is the last week I'll have to wait!!! Whaoo...the countdown is on!! Oh - and im going outta town so i wont post for a while - lata all. Pray for a safe trip if ya would for me (i know its non maxima related - so sowwy) but im going to detroit to basically "street evanglize" with about 300 other youths - lata all.
