Here are some pictures of my '89 Maxima GXE!

link: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/rbloedow/index.htm

I have yet to do any modifications on it. It was driven by a 70 year old man, so everyhting is in great condition. THe only thing I don't like is the interior, it's faded and I don't like the color that much. Oh, it's also an auto Other than that, I'm very happy with it.

The day I bought it, my other car had just died ('86 Rolla!) - and my mom and I went down to the Toyota dealership. This old man was also trading his Max in for a used Lexus. Well, I asked the dealer ship what they were gonna do with his Max, and they said that they were gonna sell it off to an auctioner. I asked them how much they wanted for it and if they were willing to sell it to me, and they said $2000 and it was mine. So, I bought it on the spot, without knowing anything about Maximas or doing any research. I've had it checked out by the Nissan dealership, and had them reseach it's maintenace records. THe old man was the only owner and he took very good care of it - he only got it serviced by the nissan dealership. It had 115,000 miles on it when I bought it, but I have put 7000 on it since november.

So far, I have had the alternator replaced, and I have replaced 2 of the door regulators by myself. The nissan dealership replaced the alternator for free in december. The first owner had it replaced last november right before I bought it, but it turned out that the new alternator Nissan put in it was defective, but it had a warranty on it.

The pictures make the interior look worse than it is. I'm very glad that I chose to get this Maxima

Hey i kinda enjoy the clean stock look...so work on the interior - do some fun stuff with it - as long as you don't make it a fluffy pink cr*p then hey more power to ya. The color is nice too - if you put yours next to mine-to-be then we could have a christmas colored maxima party going on. What Fun! I know your happy. Lol.

Looks real good. The condition of your car is perfect. Keep it that way and start putting some mods into it.

I'm kinda digging the stock look for now, due to the fact that modifying anything on the Max isn't really an option without giving my wallet an *** kicking. I'll wait for a while. Now, what should I do about the interior?

So that is why you think you have a se with drum brakes. Chrome grill and window trim=GXE. Body color grill and black trim=SE.

Some people may say spoiler=se but I have seen a lot of GXEs with dealer installed spoilers.

Oh and as for rbloedow...I like the car man nice and clean. I like that color just needs black interior but oh well you cant have it all sometimes.

Now start the modding.
