What is my maxima worth?

What is my maxima worth?
I went to kellybluebook.com today and was disappointed to learn that they think it's only worth $2600. What gives? When I look up 3rd gens on autotrader.com, most of the dealers are selling them for as much as $10,000. I'm well aware that there is a price disparity among private seller, trade-in value and dealer's resell value, but why the huge difference? Can anyone enlighten me?
I've got about 120k miles, the car is in good to very good condition. No engine problems all. Is $2600 a fair price?

yeah, I was about 7.5K with a stock 93SE with just over 100K miles in CA. I don't think location makes that much of a difference. the KBB database may have been screwed up, try it again.
btw, where are people selling their rides for 10K, that's a lot for a 93.

Not people...dealers. I'm sorry...I meant to say that "some" dealers are selling 3rd gens for as much as 10k.
By the way, I gotta say...man, there are some vultures around here! I never mentioned a thing about selling my max! I love my car. And I don't think I would ever sell it. unless of course I wrecked it beyond repair, then I would try to sell whatever mods that are salvageable.

I had looked at the wholesale Kelley Blue Book for a stock 1993 SE with 58,000 mile on it (that is what I just bought) and it was $5500. That was wholesale. I figured I got a good deal paying $8,000 considering that mods it had done to it. I don't recall however what the private retail figure was for it.

KBB sucks, dealers don't go by their figures. Try www.nadaguides.com for a more realistic approach to finding the value of your car.

one of the reason that i know of is that the high price is added in because the dealer have to put in money to fix the car up to a "good condition " before they can sale it. Plus they have to make some money on top of that.
