Bad Oil Leak!!!
I have a 93' SE (VE engine) and I have a really bad oil leak that is coming out of the my pully the UDP and because its there when I drive the oil is splattered all over that side of the engine. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or know someone who has and how much it costs to fix it! The auto shop wants $35 just to find out where it is but i thought id post this and see if anyone else has this problem. If its going to be ALOT of money then im not going to bother with it!!

Just fixed my main crank seal for the same problem myself. Parts cost $4 and took me about 2.5 hrs (I took my time).
Critical tools you will need (1) Impact wrench. (2) 27mm socket for crank pully nut.
Search this forum and you'll find all the info you need.

Re: Bad Oil Leak!!!
the shop is more than likely talking about the cam seals which are also bound to leak. if the leak is bad it is most likely the crank seal. if you don't have access to an impact wrench when trying to remove the crank pulley bolt, just drop the starter and wedge a breaker bar between the transaxle and the flywheel or in the clutch pressure plate(there will be a gap in the plate housing). Also you are going to need an all-purpose puller, go to autozone for a loaner if you don't have one.

Also, try looking at the oil pressure switch. I thought mine was leaking from the pulley until I noticed the oil was dripping down onto my alternator from the switch. That whole side of the engine was oily and dirty from the leaking switch.

If the leak is coming from behind your crank pulley, then I'm positive it's your front main oil seal that has gone bad. In order to get to it, follow the directions AC439 gave you. Open up a Chilton's or Hayne's Repair Manual and read. Once you get the crank pulley off, take a flat head screw driver and very carefully pry the oil seal out. It will come out very easily. Buy a new $4 front main oil seal from Nissan and ever so slightly, slide it in there after coating it with a little oil. Then, put your pulley back on and torque it to specifications. And then put your passenger tire back on. And then see if you have an oil leak still.
I changed my oil seal when I installed my under drive pulley. It's pretty easy if you have the right tools. An impact wrench will make your life so much easier. Good Luck!
