I was on my way in to work yesterday for the night shift. I decided to make a steady acceleration for the last stretch (I think it's about 3/4 mile). I was minding my own business passing all the traffic when I decided that it was enough and kept a steady speed. Suddenly I notice a yellow Hyundai Tiburon closing and passing me on my left. I pushed a little, but knowing I had to get off the exit didn't want to make the hard stop 300yds later, decided that 83 mph was enough. After he passed me contiuing on the highway, I noticed that there was not only a passenger in the front seat, but also one in the back seat!!! (WTF?????) I was so embarrassed. And I wasn't even racing!!! He didn't even seem to break a sweat. I'll tell you what, I'll know the next time I see that yellow Tiburon. It's on.

What year was this Tiburon? The 2003 Tiburons have a V6 180HP engine option. The older ones....well...youve got a GXE. Haha. Just kiddin..

Anybody see the Tiburon in SCC a couple of months back? He put a turbo on the front engine. Then he intalled an identical turboed engine where the back seat used to be. Each engine drove one end of the car.

His car dynoed at ~3?? hp per engine. He ran 10 second 1/4 miles without even trying or spinning a wheel! Of course, it wouldn't turn worth a crap but who cares?

Yes we would turn worth a crap if done right. Do you not remember the Cosworth rally cars? They have an engine in the front and the back, and as I recall, they could turn (slide?) better than the rest

That thing was insane! 600hp total..did you check the crazy burnouts he can do...put one trans in Drive and the other in reverse..holy SMOKES!

Caddy made a car like that too w/ 2 northstar V8's running the front and rear wheels. But that Tib. is pretty amazing

I believe you are referring to the TwinStar by Mosler..check him out on th eweb..Mosler makes the weirdest stuff. Ever see the Raptor? Basically spanks EVERYTHING on the road and on the track..0-60 in less than 4 sec. I want one..and I want a Twinstar Too..Imagine a twin engine Eldorado..600hp, 12 sec 1/4 mile. Whoo baby!

I remember reading about that in one of the car mags. Cool car!
