Help! Steering issue

All of a sudden my car has picked up a realy weird tendency. When driving the steering wheel will jerk/pull as the vehicle shifts. Basically i start out in first, it shifts to second and the steering wheel shifts left and stays that way and then does it again going into third, and it then has to stay that way to travel in a straight line. It's really bad if i happen to be accelerating hard in a straight line, the car will head right as the steering wheel jerks right then back over too far to the left. Any ideas on what it might be!?!

Have you checked PS fluid, leakage. I would do that first. Sounds like an airbound pump..lack of fluid. Torque steer is being exaggerated due to las of pressure in system. Just an idea, but fluid is definately the place to start.
