starting problems
I just replaced my starter about two weeks ago because the starter solenoid was bad. on three occasions since i changed it my car would not start at all after doing lots of running around town to do erands. it starts up after you let it sit for about an hour. i looked in my chiltons but it does not have much of a diagnostic section on the ignition system. do you think it is the igniton coils? crank angle sensor? any help is appreciated. thanks
Sounds like its your ignition module. When they are dying they will cause starting (and occasionally running) problems. It will be mounted on a bracket in front of and below the dizzy. They can be affected by heat so if you get a new one make sure you apply the heat-sink compound (silicone) between bracket and module.
